There is no cookie banner because there are no cookies. This page explains the one piece of client-side storage the site uses and why.
No cookies
GenieLabs sets no cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to: no analytics script, no advertising tag, no session identifier, no third-party embed.
Local storage instead
Each instrument saves your draft to your browser's local storage so a refresh does not lose your work. It is read only by this site, never transmitted on its own, and removed when you clear the draft or clear site data.
- genielabs:draft:*, the text in an instrument's editor, and the regex pattern and flags where applicable.
- Nothing else is written. No identifiers, no timestamps, no usage counters.
Server logs
The hosting platform records standard access logs including request path, timestamp and a truncated network address. These are not cookies, are not readable by this site, and are not linked to any identity.
